FAQs & Protocols

protocols we adhere to

  1. Organisational Vision and Inclusivity
With a mission rooted in the study of human consciousness and the mind, through intensive research, experimentation, and investigation, P.A.I.R.S. envisions becoming one of the most trusted and authoritative resources in the field of anomalous research. Our goal is to produce verifiable evidence and insights that contribute meaningfully to the understanding of the paranormal. We strive to create an inclusive organisation where individuals from diverse backgrounds can actively participate in research, learn essential life skills, and explore human potential—free from discrimination of any kind.
  2. Balanced and Rational Approach to the Paranormal
P.A.I.R.S. maintains a rational, open-minded, and scientifically-informed approach toward paranormal and psychic phenomena. While we acknowledge the existence of empirical data and long-standing anecdotal accounts, our objective is to seek the most natural, logical, and evidence-backed explanations. We draw upon both scientific methodologies and spiritual frameworks, ensuring a holistic understanding of the unexplained.
  3. Departmental Structure and Unified Mission
Each department within P.A.I.R.S. operates under the guidance of its respective Head of Department, ensuring streamlined functioning and subject-matter expertise. While responsibilities may vary, every department works collaboratively toward a shared goal: uncovering truth through ethical and evidence-driven investigation.
  4. Interdisciplinary Investigation Team
Our investigation teams consist of trained paranormal investigators, certified parapsychologists, researchers, demonologists, psychic mediums, spiritual healers, and counsellors. Investigations follow a dual-approach model—utilising both scientific instrumentation and intuitive methods. Investigators are equipped with advanced tools and are deployed to identified hotspots for data collection. The process also includes surveillance using CCTV cameras and sensory devices. All collected data is documented and forwarded to the Analysis Department for detailed evaluation.
  5. Scientific Tools and Research Equipment
P.A.I.R.S. employs a wide array of scientifically-validated tools in its fieldwork. These include EMF detectors, EVP recorders, motion-sensitive cameras, touch sensors, and other calibrated equipment. Every device used is selected based on its scientific merit, reliability, and relevance to the investigative environment.
  6. Professional Conduct and Representation
All members of P.A.I.R.S. are expected to uphold the organisation’s credibility, professionalism, and ethical standards at all times. Members must represent the organisation with integrity—on the field, in communication, and in public forums. The paranormal community demands rigorous documentation and credible evidence, and every investigator bears the responsibility of contributing meaningfully to that standard.
  7. Case-Based Strategy and Coordination
Each case is unique and requires a tailored approach. The Case Manager plays a pivotal role in documenting critical incidents, testimonies, timelines, and environmental observations relevant to the investigation. These details support the formulation of a case-specific investigative plan.
  8. Protocol on Psychic Medium Engagement
To preserve the integrity of psychic data and avoid cognitive bias, Case Managers are strictly prohibited from sharing prior incident reports or location history with psychic mediums before an investigation. This ensures any impressions or experiences shared by mediums remain untainted and verifiable.
  9. Investigation Management and Oversight
The Case Manager is responsible for the smooth coordination and execution of investigations, liaising with technical teams, field investigators, and psychic consultants. Their role also includes managing timelines, ensuring proper documentation, and overseeing the post-investigation review process.
  10. Integration with Ghost Encounters
As the media and public engagement arm of P.A.I.R.S., Ghost Encounters plays a crucial role in documenting our investigations and translating complex findings into accessible content for the general public. By leveraging digital platforms, Ghost Encounters helps spread awareness, debunk myths, and promote scientific inquiry into the paranormal in a way that is both engaging and educational.
  11. Confidentiality and Data Ethics
All members are expected to maintain strict confidentiality regarding case details, client identities, and investigative data. Any findings, recordings, or case information must only be shared or published with official clearance from the organisation.
  12. Post-Investigation Reporting and Follow-Up
After each investigation, a comprehensive report must be submitted by the team, including photographic evidence, device logs, observational notes, and analysis. This data contributes to our broader research repository and may be used in future case studies, academic discussions, or public education via Ghost Encounters.
